TFMoran Showcases New Projects at Tri-City Expo

A big thank you to all who stopped by Booth #212 at the 26th annual Tri-City Expo, held at the Radisson Hotel Expo Center on Thursday, September 18, 2014. TFMoran is proud to participate every year in one of New Hampshire’s largest business community events. The expo, hosted by the Greater Concord, Manchester and Nashua Chambers of Commerce, accommodates more than 200 exhibitors showcasing their services and products to over 1,200 attendees.

TFMoran showcased our professional services with 10 new projects, all located within the Greater Tri-City region.

TFMoran principals and project managers were on hand to answer any questions about these exciting projects and to discuss future New Hampshire projects.

On November 12-13th, TFMoran will be exhibiting at the annual New Hampshire Municipal Association Annual Conference, also held at the Manchester Radisson Hotel. We are excited to feature many of our recent municipal projects that include road design, construction overview, utilities, municipal buildings, athletic fields & parks, and engineering review services.

Whole Foods Market Receives Conservation Commission Permit for Bedford, NH Store

Whole Foods Market will anchor the new John Goffe Plaza in Bedford, NH.  The mixed-use development is on the site of the former Wayfarer Inn and Convention Center and will feature housing, office, and retail uses in addition to the Whole Foods Market.   TFMoran is performing Land Survey, Civil and Traffic Engineering, and Town and State Permitting for the project.  TFMoran Principal and Civil Project Manager, Jeff Kevan was featured in a recent Bedford Bulletin article about the Conservation Commission’s unanimous approval of a dredge and fill permit for the development.

Robert Cruess Published in High-Profile Magazine

Robert Cruess, TFMoran’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, recently wrote a featured article for the August 2014 issue of High-Profile Magazine.  The article focuses on mixed-use developments in New Hampshire, which feature commercial and residential uses together in the same project.  To read Robert’s article entitled “Market Driven Mixed-Use” click here.  TFMoran has successfully permitted many mixed-use projects in recent history, some examples of our mixed-use projects are: The Hillside Shops at Bedford in Bedford, NH, Abingdon Square in Goffstown, NH, and Dover Fields Marketplace in Dover, NH.

High-Profile Monthly magazine is a New England based monthly publication that, “…identifies all aspects of the New England architecture, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry through featured projects, news announcements, trend articles, industry events and informative interviews attributed to owners, developers, property managers, architects, engineers, project managers and consultants, contractors, subcontractors and others.”

TFMoran Hosts Manchester Chamber of Commerce Cookout

On Thursday, August 7th, TFMoran hosted the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce monthly Network PM event for the for the 15th consecutive year.  It was a beautiful New Hampshire evening with a slight breeze and lots of valuable networking for the more than 150 attendees.  TFMoran has learned the secret to a great event is good food, plentiful drinks, Jimmy Buffett music, and ice cream for everyone!  The cookout featured food and decorations from three local Bedford businesses:  Steak tips, grilled chicken, and burgers were prepared by The Wine’ing Butcher, ice cream was served by The Inside Scoop, and flower arrangements were provided by the Royal Bouquet.  TFMoran greatly values our relationship with the Manchester Chamber of Commerce and the local business community.  We are proud to have hosted the August Network PM event for the last 15 years and look forward to the years ahead.

Special thanks go out to all the TFM employees that volunteered at the cookout by setting up, tending the bar, and cleaning up afterwards!

A Great Day at the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournamnet

On Thursday, July 31st Dylan Cruess, TFMoran’s Chief Operating Officer, played in the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce golf tournament at Stonebridge Country Club in Goffstown, NH.  Dylan joined James Hatem, of Nixon Peabody, Henry Veilleux, of Sheehan Phinney Capital Group, and Julie Baron, of Make-A-Wish New Hampshire, for an excellent round that finished 3 under par!  TFMoran has been a long-standing member of the Manchester Chamber of Commerce and believes in its mission to advocate for the greater Manchester area business community.  Our employees have historically served on the Chamber’s Board of Directors, as well as participated on several Chamber sub-committees  Additional pictures of the golf Tournament can be found on the Chamber’s Facebook page.

TFMoran hosts 2014 NH CIBOR Annual BBQ

TFMoran hosted the New Hampshire Commercial Investment Board of REALTORS® annual meeting and Barbecue on Thursday, June 19th at our Bedford office.  For the second straight year, the weather cooperated with lots of sun a slight breeze.  Over one hundred CIBOR members and TFMoran staff enjoyed the cookout, which featured steak tips by The Wine’ing Butcher and ice cream by The Inside Scoop.  TFMoran has been hosting the annual NH CIBOR meeting and cookout for more than 15 years.  TFMoran is proud to partner with CIBOR each year for such a great event.

NH CIBOR president Mark Dickey presented David Choate, III of Colliers International with the REALTOR-of-the-Year award, and J. Chris Nadeau, who was not able to attend, with the Affiliate-of-the Year award.  Additional awards and raffle items were also presented.

TFMoran Sponsors NH-ASCE Scholarship Golf Tournament

TFMoran Gold SponsorOn Friday, June 6th TFMoran was a Gold sponsor for the New Hampshire Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (NH-ASCE) scholarship golf outing at the Beaver Meadow Golf Club in Concord, NH.  All proceeds above event costs go to the NH-ASCE Scholarship Fund to assist NH high school seniors and UNH students enrolled in ABET accredited Civil Engineering programs.  Senior Project Manager, Nick Golon, PE, also a member of the NH-ASCE Board of Directors, represented TFMoran on the fairways and greens and was accompanied by Walter Bilynsky, Joe Sperry and Alan Roe.  The weather was beautiful, the scores were low, and a great time was had by all!

TFMoran Promotes Two Engineers

TFMoran, Inc. has recently promoted two engineers to senior level positions:

Christopher Rice has been promoted to Senior Project Manager. Mr. Rice has over fifteen years experience in civil engineering and is responsible for the management and engineering design of private, public and municipal land development projects.

Thomas Lamb, PE has been promoted to Senior Structural Engineer. Mr. Lamb has over ten years experience in structural design, analysis, and construction administration of residential, public and commercial buildings throughout New England.
