TFMoran Sponsors Bedford High School’s FIRST Robotics Team, Red Storm 509

TFMoran is proud to sponsor Bedford High School’s FIRST Robotics team, Red Storm 509. FIRST, which stands for: “For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology”, is a global nonprofit organization that prepares young people for the future through inclusive, team-based robotics programs. These programs, available to students from PreK – Grade 12, ignite a passion for science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) by providing hands-on learning experiences.

At BHS, Red Storm 509 members are guided by mentors who help them embody FIRST’s Core Values as they research, fundraise, design, build, and showcase their robots in competitive challenges. This process fosters teamwork, self-confidence, and collaborative problem-solving skills that will serve students well in the future.

By sponsoring Red Storm 509, TFMoran is excited to support a program that not only sparks students’ interest in STEM but also opens doors to educational and career opportunities, setting them on a path toward a brighter future! Red Storm 509 will take their 2024 robot, Crescendo, to competitions across New England, aiming for a spot at the 2025 FIRST Championship in Houston, Texas, this April!

Grand Opening of Pembrook Road Apartments

TFMoran was proud to attend the grand opening of one of our latest projects, the Pembrook Road Apartments in Concord, NH, on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

We provided civil/site and structural engineering services in collaboration with Market Square Architects for this new 123-unit affordable housing complex.

The ceremony featured speeches from key figures including Joe Tramposi, head developer at Tramposi Brothers Holdings; Rob Dapice, Executive Director and CEO of New Hampshire Housing; and letters read by U.S. Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan.

Guests were treated to breakfast refreshments and had the opportunity to tour the vacant units, celebrating the completion of this important community development.

TFMoran Joins Easterseals New Hampshire President’s Council

Since 1936, Easterseals has been dedicated to uplifting nearly 16,000 residents of New Hampshire, empowering individuals of all ages and abilities to lead more independent lives.

Recently, TFMoran proudly joined Easterseals’ President’s Council, working alongside the organization to give back to our community and provide vital services to individuals with disabilities and special needs.

One of our most recent project with Easterseals involved providing a comprehensive range of services for the new Easterseals Gammon Academy in Manchester, NH. TFMoran worked alongside construction manager, North Branch Construction, and Architect JSA Design contributing civil/site engineering, structural engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, stormwater management, construction administration, and permitting services to ensure the facility meets the growing needs of its residents and support staff. The new academy will significantly enhance the learning environment, offering much-needed space and resources to support the residents’ educational and developmental needs.

TFMoran is honored to be part of Easterseals’ President’s Council and proud to contribute to the vital work they do in our community!
