CIVIL PROJECT ENGINEER – Bedford or Portsmouth Office
TFMoran, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to fill full-time Civil Engineer positions. This Engineering position will be responsible for servicing a range of civil engineering and land development projects that require local, state, and federal permitting. Duties will include civil site design, road design, and stormwater management, utilizing AutoCAD and HydroCAD (preferred). Other responsibilities may include the preparation of technical specifications, preparation of reports and correspondence, construction observation, and submittal preparation. The position requires 0-5 years of project engineering and management experience in civil engineering with land development projects that require local, state, and federal permitting. B.S. in Civil Engineering and EIT preferred.

CIVIL ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER – Bedford or Portsmouth Office
TFMoran, Inc. is currently seeking motivated individuals to fill a full-time civil engineer/project manager position for our Bedford or Portsmouth, NH office. This position requires 5+ years of project management experience in civil engineering/survey-type projects, based in New England, that require local, state, and federal permitting. Ability to make presentations to planning boards and proficiency in AutoCAD necessary. B.S. in Civil Engineering required.

LAND SURVEYOR – Bedford or Portsmouth Office
TFMoran, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Land Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, measurements, and assessments to support various land development projects. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse and exciting projects while advancing your career in the field of land surveying.

Responsibilities Include: Perform boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys. Utilized surveying instruments, such as total stations, GPS equipment, and data collectors to collect accurate field data. Demonstrated ability to process survey field data to ensure compliance with NH-BOLS Standards. Analyze survey data and prepare detailed reports, plans, and drawings. Collaborate with project managers, engineers and clients to ensure project objectives are met. Oversee survey crew members and provide guidance during field work. Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations and surveying standards. Contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications Include: Licensed Land Surveyor (LLS) in the state of New Hampshire or eligibility for licensure. Demonstrated proficiency in using surveying instruments and software. Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, techniques, and legal requirements. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR – Bedford Office
TFMoran, Inc. has a position immediately available for a full-time or part-time, experienced General Construction and Stormwater Inspector in their Bedford office. The position involves on-site construction and stormwater inspections, client and contractor coordination, and preparation of State and Town permit applications. If you have prior experience in general construction or stormwater inspection; are familiar with the principles of civil engineering site design; have good oral and written communication skills and are detail-oriented; are familiar with Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP); have PE or CPESC (Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control), then we’d love to hear from you!

ENTRY LEVEL STRUCTURAL ENGINEER – Bedford Office
TFMoran, Inc. is currently seeking a motivated individual to fill a structural design position. The designer will work under project managers and be asked to perform structural design, drafting and construction administrative tasks for residential and commercial buildings. Candidates must have an E.I.T and a BS in Civil Engineering. Relevant course studies should include the design of steel, concrete, timber and masonry. Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, Autodesk, Revit, AutoCAD, RISA 3D and Ram Structural Systems preferred.

ENVIRONMENTAL PERMITTER SPECIALIST – Portsmouth Office
TFMoran, Inc. is currently seeking a motivated individual to fill an entry level, full-time Environmental Permitting Position in our Portsmouth, NH office.

If you:

Have a background in conservation, environmental biology, environmental law, or natural resource protection and have an interest in the following, this job may be a good fit for you.

  • Gaining an understanding of the federal, state, and local environmental regulations as they relate to commercial and residential land development.
  • Coordinating with other federal and state agencies to screen projects for sensitive threatened and endangered species and archaeological resources.
  • Preparing and submitting local and state environmental permit applications to municipal officials and regulatory agencies.
  • Learning how to identify and delineate wetlands so they can be depicted on engineered plans for the purpose of planning land development projects.
  • Learning how to assess the overall functions and values of wetlands.
  • Joining an award-winning, progressive company that promotes mutual respect, collaboration, and a passion for giving back to the community.

Experience preparing permit applications and using GIS software is preferred, but not required. Sound technical writing and communication skills are essential to be successful as an environmental permitter.

STRUCTURAL DESIGNER INTERN – Bedford Office
TFMoran, Inc. is currently seeking a motivated individual to fill a Structural Designer Intern position. The designer will work under Structural Project Managers and Engineers. Projects include small and large residential and commercial/retail buildings, as well as structural renovations. Responsibilities include administrative tasks, modeling, drafting, basic structural calculations, and construction administrative support for projects consisting of steel, concrete, wood, and masonry materials. Candidates must be enrolled in a college or university ABET-accredited engineering program and working towards a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Relevant course studies preferred include the design of steel, concrete, timber and masonry. Experience using Microsoft Office applications and Revit is required. Experience with AutoCAD is a plus. Experience with RISA 3D, Ram Structural System and other analysis software is preferred. FE is preferred. Ideal candidate must have good organizational and communication skills.
