Town of Hopkinton, NH Contoocook Village Fire Station

TFMoran provided survey, civil/site engineering, Shoreland permitting and structural design for an addition to the town of Hopkinton, NH’s existing Village Fire Station located near the Contoocook River. The existing roof and columns were evaluated to verify that a second story could be added to the existing one-story brick structure. The new second story provided a dormitory, a kitchen, and office space. A new apparatus bay was added to accommodate a new ladder truck. PortOne Architects of Portsmouth, NH was the project architect and Bonnette Page & Stone of Laconia, NH was the construction manager.
