Working with Cowan Goudreau Architects, TFMoran provided structural design and drafting for this new 9,000 sf fire and rescue facility in Milton, NH. Sitting just off the White Mountain Highway the building features a six door apparatus bay, kitchen, training room, dorms, offices, among other standard fire and rescue amenities. The facility also features a 20,000 gallon cistern capped with pre-cast concrete planks adjacent the apparatus bay. The structure was designed using a combination of timber and steel framing construction for the superstructure capped with pre-engineered timber roof trusses. Autodesk Revit was utilized to provide an accurate 3D model of the building for production of construction plans. Eckman Construction of Bedford, NH was the Construction Manager.
