TFMoran engineers, surveyors and scientists contracted with Public Service Company of New Hampshire (PSNH) for civil design, permitting and stormwater inspections for the Farmwood Transmission Switchyard project. This infrastructure improvement project was proposed in conjunction with other transmission system upgrades to reliably serve the forecasted electric demand for the Concord area. Due to the size and complexities siting the project, regulatory approval from the State of New Hampshire for an alteration of terrain permit and wetlands dredge and fill permit were required as well as permitting on the municipal level with the City of Concord for site plan and subdivision approval and conditional use permits to accommodate the project. Through the construction process, TFMoran has supported PSNH by providing inspection services to evaluate effectiveness of stormwater best management practices and confirm site plan and permit compliance. Construction is ongoing with an in-service date of December 2014.
