TFMoran provided civil, traffic and structural engineering, permitting, and landscape architecture services for this new south campus entrance experience at Southern New Hampshire University. The archway, designed by TFM Design, welcomes students, faculty and visitors at the meeting point of East Side Drive and North River Road, just before the new Gustafson Welcome Center. The archway frame is made of galvanized steel and spans 74 feet between built-up steel columns wrapped in brick and cmu masonry towers. The towers were designed to compliment the north entrance signage using natural stone veneer, granite and the SNHU seal. Installation of the archway was provided by Harvey Construction. In addition, TFMoran engineers designed roadway improvements, adding a third lane and median, along with a signalized intersection.
