Congrats to NeighborWorks® Southern New Hampshire for a successful Manchester West Side RENEW project!

As a proud supporter, TFMoran’s Dylan Cruess, COO was invited by Executive Director Robert Tourigny of NeighborWorks® Southern New Hampshire to the unveiling of their completed West Side RENEW project at 459 Granite Street in Manchester. Typically, a ribbon-cutting ceremony would have marked the completion of this special project, but due to the current pandemic situation, instead of a group gathering, the property was shown social-distanced to the fundraisers who helped make this redeveloped housing project possible. Last fall TFMoran donated $5,000 in support of this important housing initiative to redevelop and preserve properties on Manchester’s West Side. The building was previously an uninhabitable and was purchased at a tax auction from the City of Manchester in 2018. Through a variety of funding sources and with the help of the business community, 459 Granite Street, with its cheery yellow doors, is now home to four working families. The one and two-bedroom affordable-apartment rentals include heat and hot water for between $1,000 and $1,050 per month.

Congratulations to NeighborWorks® Southern New Hampshire for receiving the “2020 Housing for Everyone” award by the TD Charitable Foundation in support of the West Side RENEW initiative!

TFMoran Sponsors The Palace Theatre “Forever Emma” Golf Classic

TFMoran was a proud sponsor of the Palace Theatre “Forever Emma” Golf Classic to benefit the Forever Emma Scholarship Fund. The scholarship fund was created in memory of Bedford, NH resident Emma Bechert, a fourteen-year-old girl with a passion for theater who called the Palace Theatre her second home. Emma died in 2016 following a lengthy battle with cancer. The scholarship is used to help other children become involved in the arts.

The tournament was held on a beautiful day at the Passaconaway Country Club in Litchfield, NH. The tournament included a shotgun start with a scramble format, 19th hole reception, barbecue lunch, awards, and a raffle. TFMoran’s Dan Blais was out on the course with his teammates hoping to place in the top 3. Though, they didn’t quite make it, Dan and his friends had a great time while raising money for children’s theater.

Congratulations to the Top 3!

1st Place:  Empire Sheet Metal    Score: 57
2nd Place: EVR Advertising    Score: 61
3rd Place:  Team Sylvio    Score: 62

Thank you to the Palace Theatre for supporting children’s theatre and the arts, and putting on a great event!
