TFMoran was a proud sponsor of the Palace Theatre “Forever Emma” Golf Classic to benefit the Forever Emma Scholarship Fund. The scholarship fund was created in memory of Bedford, NH resident Emma Bechert, a fourteen-year-old girl with a passion for theater who called the Palace Theatre her second home. Emma died in 2016 following a lengthy battle with cancer. The scholarship is used to help other children become involved in the arts.
The tournament was held on a beautiful day at the Passaconaway Country Club in Litchfield, NH. The tournament included a shotgun start with a scramble format, 19th hole reception, barbecue lunch, awards, and a raffle. TFMoran’s Dan Blais was out on the course with his teammates hoping to place in the top 3. Though, they didn’t quite make it, Dan and his friends had a great time while raising money for children’s theater.
Congratulations to the Top 3!

On August 12th, 2020, TFMoran donated $300 to the Bishop’s Charitable Assistance Fund (BCAF), a not-for-profit organization of the Catholic Church in New Hampshire. The fund provides grants to not-for-profit organizations in New Hampshire, for projects that help residents of New Hampshire meet basic needs, such as food, shelter, heat, and other necessities. The fund is given to organizations that have missions and operations consistent with the Roman Catholic Church, regardless of religious affiliation.
In 2019, the Bishop’s Charitable Assistance Fund raised $240,000, the most raised since 2001. Grant recipients included the Boys and Girls Club, homeless shelters, day cares, soup kitchens, crisis centers, and many more organizations throughout New Hampshire serving our most vulnerable populations.
The fundraiser runs until September 10, 2020, ending with a virtual celebration of 35 years of grant making. If you would like to donate, you can do so online at www.catholicnh.org

The village of Mangagoy Bislig, Philippines couldn’t be more appreciative, having received much needed food supplies as their families struggle during this Coronavirus pandamic. The bags of food given to each family were provided by donations made through a GoFundMe page called “Help the Hunger” created by Dahriz Colwell. Dahriz is the wife of TFMoran’s seacoast division manager and a principal of the company, Corey Colwell, LLS.
The Philippines village is Dahriz’s hometown and she wanted to help in anyway she could. Dahriz got busy at her sewing machine creating masks that she donated to help keep her neighbors and others stay safe during the pandemic crisis. In turn, people offered to pay for their masks. Though the masks were free, Dahriz offered a suggestion of donating to her cause through the GoFundMe page. And, people were glad to do so, making a difference in many lives who are less fortunate.
TFMoran made a $500 contribution as a thank you to Dahriz for supplying TFMoran’s Bedford and Portsmouth offices with masks for every employee. To date $1,155 has been raised as a result of Dahriz’s mask-making efforts. 100% of the proceeds go directly to food for her hometown village.
TFMoran was thrilled to receive photos from Dahriz of the smiling village residents gratefully receiving colorful bags filled with much needed food supplies, and for their extra effort in making a “Thank You” banner and taking photos. We appreciate Dahriz and the Colwell family for their compassionate community involvement, locally and in the Philippines.

TFMoran’s seacoast division manager and a principal of the company, Corey Colwell, LLS, is proud to share some positive and personal news amid this COVID-19 pandemic. His wife, Dahriz Colwell, has been busy at her sewing machine creating masks that she donates to help keep people safe during the pandemic. Dahriz has now created over 40 assorted colors and patterns of masks to choose from and has made over 350 masks since she started this initiative in early March. The masks are hand-wash and air-dry only because of the interfacing filter material in the middle. Not only has Dahriz supplied her husband’s Portsmouth office staff with enough masks, but also the TFMoran corporate office in Bedford, NH.
Dahriz continues to set up a table in their neighborhood for anyone who would like a free mask. Though her masks are offered at no cost, many of their neighbors have generously donated more than $400 so far, and TFMoran has made a $500 contribution to her cause. Dahriz’s cause is very special and dear to her heart, and by making these masks she is bringing awareness of her cause to others who want to help. Dahriz’s hometown village in the Philippines desperately needs help to feed their struggling families during this pandemic. By creating a GoFundMe page called “Help the Hunger”, Dahriz hopes this will be an easy way for people to make a donation.
“We are very fortunate to be living in a good town, safe state and country that provide for those in need. I feel blessed. There are areas of the world not so fortunate. My hometown of Mangagoy Bislig, Philippines is a good example. The town and most of the country is shut down, no work and little to no government help. We are organizing a fund raiser to help feed those less fortunate than us. 100% of all proceeds will go to feed the hungry and their struggling families. Any amount you can contribute to this cause is greatly appreciated.”
– Dahriz Colwell
Dahriz has all the support of her family and friends in her efforts of making a difference in people’s lives during these challenging times. “I think this a great cause, I am proud of her for all that she has done,” says her husband Corey. “Since we were married 16 years ago, she has been helping her village in any way that we can afford. This is the hardest they have been hit in a long time.”
Even their 5-year old son Tristan is happy to help, from setting up the mask display table in the neighborhood, to cutting fabric and even a little sewing. Every little bit helps to make a difference.

The Tree Streets projects aim to help revitalize the Nashua Tree Streets Neighborhood. Building is expected to start once weather permits.
TFMoran was one of more than twenty local businesses and entities whose generous support will help to create good housing and quality neighborhoods in Nashua.
