2024 BOB Awards VOTING is Now Open!

TFMoran is honored and proud to be the recipient of the New Hampshire Business Review’s BOB (Best Of Business) Award for the past 11 consecutive years! We would love to make it 12, with your help!

Please consider voting for TFMoran in the Engineering category, Question 14 in the online survey. You must vote for at least 15 questions for the entry to count, and only one vote per person is allowed. The ballot is open until Friday, December 29, 2023.

The BOB Awards are an annual New Hampshire Business Review award program recognizing the Granite State’s exceptional businesses. The businesses recognized offer the best service, attention to detail, and have the most helpful and eager employees. BOB Award winners from over 90 different categories, ranging from “Best Accounting Firm” to “Best Engineering Firm” to “Best Business Place for Lunch”, are considered to be New Hampshire’s highest caliber businesses offering nothing less than outstanding products and services.

The annual BOB Awards celebration will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord.

Winners will be notified by early February 2024

TFMoran is Proud to be on Two 2021 ABC NH/VT Excellence Award-Winning Project Teams!

TFMoran is proud to be on two Associated Builders and Contractors of New Hampshire and Vermont (ABC NH/VT) Excellence Award-Winning project teams!

Congratulations to Eckman Construction for receiving an Excellence Award for the Newmarket School District Projects. TFMoran worked with Banwell Architects and Eckman Construction in providing structural design for additions and renovations to the Newmarket Jr./Sr. High School and Elementary School. The 50,000 sf additions to the high school included new steel framed 2-story classroom additions, event entry, music and band rooms, kitchen, tech education and a weight room. Renovations included creating a new 2-story cafetorium and stage within the existing building. The 22,000sf additions and renovations to the elementary school included a new load bearing masonry structured gymnasium, lobby, kitchen and classroom additions.

Congratulations to Fulcrum Associates for receiving an Excellence Award for T-Bones Great American Eatery in Concord, NH, the largest stand-alone T-BONES location for Great NH Restaurants. TFMoran supported the efforts of the project architect, Market Square Architects of Portsmouth and builder, Fulcrum Associates of Amherst, providing civil, traffic and structural engineering, land surveying, landscape architecture and construction administration services for the project. The restaurant is 9,420 sf which includes a 260-seat indoor dining room and 35-seat outdoor patio.

The EiC awards honor every member of the construction team, including the contractor, owner, architect, and engineer. The winning projects selected from entries across NH and VT are judged on complexity, attractiveness, unique challenges overcome, completion time, workmanship, innovation, safety, and cost.

Thank you to Shari of ABC NH/VT for stopping by the office to present the awards to our Senior Project Managers Nick Golon (Civil Engineering) and Kyle Roy (Structural Engineering for T-Bones, and Structural Engineer Lou Cote for Newmarket Schools.

The Excellence in Construction (EiC) Award reception at the Manchester DoubleTree Hotel was held on October 14th, 2021.

Dylan Cruess, COO named on New Hampshire 200 List for Second Time

New Hampshire 200 TFMoran’s Chief Operating Officer, Dylan Cruess was recently selected as one of New Hampshire’s 200 most influential business leaders by NH Business Review. This is Cruess’ second time on the “New Hampshire 200” list, the first was in 2019, the award’s inaugural year.

This designation is a result of a year-long initiative conducted by NH Business Review editors who collected suggestions and nominations from their industry contacts throughout the state to determine the 200 individuals who have made the greatest impact on the Granite State’s economy, business climate and the state as a whole.

All the selected individuals were asked to complete a questionnaire for the New Hampshire 200 second edition publication to be published this fall. When asked what is most exciting about the company’s future, Cruess answered, “Over the past year we adopted an ownership transition plan, added four senior engineers as Principals to our leadership team. The ability for TFMoran to thrive and adapt during this challenging time has confirmed my belief and trust in our extraordinary team.”

Mr. Cruess joined TFMoran, Inc. in 2001 after graduating from Bates College earning a bachelor’s degree in Economics. In 2013 he became an owner and Chief Operating Officer of TFMoran when the company was transferred to four senior employees. Mr. Cruess is very involved in the local community and serves on the board of directors for numerous organizations.

The New Hampshire 200 Reception will be held on December 9, 2021 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Downtown to recognize the prominent business leaders.

Congratulations to 2020 Plan NH Merit Award project Bank of NH Stage and ABC NH/VT Excellence in Construction Award project The Derryfield School Wellness Center/Science & Innovation Center, and their project teams!

 

Plan NH 2020 Merit Award – Bank of NH Stage in Concord, NH
Each year, Plan NH holds its annual Merit Award Program to honor exemplary built environment projects that have a positive impact on the community.

TFMoran is honored to be a part of the award-winning project team for the renovation and rehabilitation of the historic Concord Theatre, now known as Bank of NH Stage. The theatre, owned by the Capitol Center for the Arts, was a recent recipient of the Plan NH 2020 Merit Award of Excellence.  The project team included the developer The Duprey Companies;  construction manager Milestone Engineering and Construction; and architect Dennis Mires, PA The Architects. TFMoran provided both civil and structural engineering services for the preservation of the 140-year-old building located on South Main Street.

 

ABC NH/VT 2020 Excellence in Construction Award – The Derryfield School Wellness Center/Science & Innovation Center in Manchester, NH

Cowan-Goudreau Architects designed the new Center to complement the school’s existing facilities, with a shingle-clad exterior and multi-level footprint stepped into the sloping topography of the site. TFMoran provided civil/ site design, structural design, permitting, landscape architecture, and surveying services for the project.

Associated Builders and Contractors of NH/VT held their 2020 Excellence in Construction Awards celebration on Thursday, October 29th.  This year’s event was held virtually honoring 12 companies with 15 awards.  The Excellence in Construction Awards honor the region’s most innovative and high quality construction projects, safety programs and diversity programs.

The Derryfield School Athletic and Wellness Center, Manchester, NH

TFMoran is proud to be on the Excellence Award-winning Eckman Construction Team for The Derryfield School Wellness Center/Science & Innovation Center in Manchester, NH.
