Sig Sauer celebrated the construction start of their new “Experience Center” with an official groundbreaking ceremony on Friday, May 7, 2021. The new 40,500sf state-of-the-art center will be located at the entrance of the Sig Sauer Academy training facility on Route 27 in Epping.
Sig Sauer’s president Ron Cohen was joined by NH Governor Chris Sununu in describing the project and what it means for New Hampshire and the economy. Sig Sauer started in the Granite State 16 years ago and is now one of New Hampshire’s largest employers. Other state representatives, local officials and representatives of law enforcement were in attendance, along with Sig Sauer staff and the project team of Cowan Goudreau Architects, North Branch Construction and TFMoran.
TFMoran is providing civil engineering, permitting, survey, landscape design and construction administration services for the project. The new $13.5 million Experience Center will include retail and office space, training and education rooms, indoor firing range and Sig Sauer museum space. The facility is expected to open next summer.
