TFMoran’s Bob Duval to Share 40+ Years of Engineering Experience at Plan NH Fall Conference

TFMoran is pleased to once again, sponsor Plan NH’s 2026 Annual Fall Conference, “Built to Belong: The Next Generation of Mixed-Use Neighborhood Developments,” and especially looks forward to having one of our own share his extensive experience and knowledge with fellow industry professionals.

Robert “Bob” Duval, PE, LEED AP, TFMoran’s Past President and current Director of Special Projects, will be a featured speaker at this year’s conference, bringing more than 40 years of experience in engineering, land development, and the built environment to the conversation.

Throughout his career with TFMoran, Bob has played an important role in the planning and development of projects that have helped shape communities throughout New Hampshire and New England. His experience spans decades of change in the engineering and development industries, giving him a unique perspective on how thoughtful planning, infrastructure, and design can contribute to stronger communities.

Bob’s participation in this year’s conference is a natural reflection of the work he has dedicated his career to. From large-scale mixed-use developments to complex land development projects, he has helped bring projects from concept to reality while considering not only how a site functions, but how it fits into and contributes to the surrounding community.

We are excited to have Bob represent TFMoran and share his perspective on the next generation of mixed-use development. His decades of experience provide valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities involved in creating places that are connected, functional, sustainable, and built to serve future generations.

TFMoran Announces Robert Duval Stepping Down as President, Promotes Nick Golon

Bedford, N.H.  May 7, 2026– TFMoran, a leading engineering and surveying company in northern New England since 1968, has announced that Robert Duval, PE, will be stepping down as President effective July 1, 2026.  He joined TFM as Chief Engineer in 2003 and has served as President since 2013. Duval will continue to stay engaged with TFMoran as Director of Special Projects and will also serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors

Under Duval’s leadership, TFMoran expanded through strategic acquisitions, earned NH Business Review’s “Best Engineering Firm” BOB Award for 14 consecutive years, and was named “Best Company to Work For” by Business NH magazine for the past two years.

“We’ve built this company around exceptional service to our clients and our communities,” says Duval. “I’ve always believed that when you hire good people and provide them a positive work environment, you create a culture of success that benefits our employees, our company, and ultimately, our clients.”

“I am proud of the important contributions we have brought to our communities – introducing mixed-use developments, new employment opportunities, and workforce housing projects. These projects have improved the quality of life in our cities and towns, strengthening city centers while protecting the surrounding natural resources.”

Nick Golon, PE, will become TFMoran’s next President and Chief Engineer.  He joined TFMoran in 2005 and currently manages the firm’s Civil Engineering Department. He has been a Principal of the firm for the last six years.

“Nick has been an important part in TFMoran’s success over the past two decades,” says Duval.  “I have full confidence that Nick will lead TFMoran to even greater accomplishments in the years ahead.”

With over 40 years of experience, Bob remains a trusted mentor and valued resource, and his impact will be felt for many years to come.”

Golon will become only the fourth President in TFMoran’s rich 58-year history.  He has more than 25 years of experience in civil engineering. He graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Mass. with a degree in Civil Engineering Technology. He has served on the Board of Directors of the New Hampshire Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers, including serving as President, and was previously a member of the Manchester Conservation Commission. Golon resides in Bedford.
